January 2nd: Happy New Year! It’s the second day of 2013, and we’re all gonna do this year right. Spend the day nursing your hangovers and going over your list of new year’s resolutions…we don’t want to drop the ball this year. If you think you can handle more alcohol, join everyone at the local Islands for happy hour [https://www.islandsrestaurants.com/menu/happyhour.aspx] tonight so we can all talk about what we plan to do better this year.
January 4th – 6th: Event: Join us January 4, 5 and 6, 2013 at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in Frontierland for a 3-day celebration of this Latin and Spanish American holiday commemorating the 3 gift-giving kings.
Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree will be brightly dressed up for the occasion in cheerful colors, hanging papel picado banners and fresh flowers. See statues of the Three Wise Men bearing gifts, as well as little toy-filled shoes left out by hopeful children the night before in anticipation of gifts from the kings.

Challenge: Make a set displaying what your character is going to do today at the park. Is he or she going to take part in the festivities or will he or she ditch the events and spend their day on the rides? Or will they ditch the park altogether and spend the weekend playing hooky from the competition?
January 7th: Slip on your swimsuits, because today we’re going to the beach! It might be January, but in California, there’s no such thing as winter. At the northernmost part of this section of coastline, just south of Long Beach, is the charming community of Seal Beach. The shoreline at Seal Beach attracts wind surfers, kite surfers and kayakers. Sign up for a class or two or just enjoy suntanning and playing in the ocean – the day is yours to do whatever you please.
January 9th: Let’s hope that one of your New Year’s resolutions wasn’t to cut back on your drinking, because tonight we’re all going to Henry’s apartment for a night filled with Disney movies and drinking games. Bring your favorite Disney movie and get ready to drink the night away. When we all wake up the next morning (or afternoon), we’ll be going out for brunch and coffee to cure our hangovers.

January 11th – 13th: Event: Surprise! We’re flying to San Francisco for the weekend. Our first stop? The Walt Disney Family Museum. After the guided tour, we have the weekend all to ourselves…just as long as we make it back to the airport for our flight back home. Either explore the city on your own or go in a group – just try not to get too lost.
Challenge: Make a set showing what your character is doing in San Francisco. Where will your character going? Ghirardelli Square? Fisherman’s Wharf? Are they sightseeing alone or are they with a friend? Is a romantic connection happening? Provide as many details as you can in your set and story and don’t be afraid to get creative!
January 14th: If you aren’t too tired from our weekend in San Francisco, catch a ride with one of your fellow contestants or judges to Hollywood today. Get your Disney fix by watching Peter Pan at the El Capitan theatre or by going to the Disney Soda Fountain next door [http://elcapitan.go.com/soda_fountain/a/look_inside/lookinside_pic_03.jpg]. Once the sun goes down, feel free to hit up one of the various nightclubs or bars in Hollywood or head home back to Anaheim – the choice is yours.
January 16th: Can you say shopping spree? I sure can. Thanks to the generosity of the judges (with a little help from some confidential donors), each contestant has been given a $5000 giftcard. We’re all going to Rodeo Drive to hit up the stops and spend our money on some nice clothes. Be sure to buy an outfit for your second interview with the judges this weekend as well as some nice things for yourself.
January 18th – 20th: Event: Take the day to do whatever you want, but make sure to be at Trader Sam’s [http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland-hotel/trader-sams/] between 6 and 8 tonight to meet with Chloe and Henry for your second one on one interview. This interview is casual, spend your time helping the judges get to know you better as well as getting to know more about them as well. After everyone has been interviewed, we’re all going for a swim at the Disneyland Hotel’s pool.
Challenge: Make a set with the outfit your character bought on the shopping spree event as well as anything that will tell the judges more about your character. What are some things that we might not know just by looking at you? Do you have any hidden talents? Any deep, dark secrets? Now would be the time to share these sorts of things with Henry and Chloe.
January 21st: Do you like to bake? Well, if you do (or even if you don’t) go to Chloe’s apartment for a day of baking and eating Disney themed cookies. Bring your favorite food to share for dinner and spend the day hanging out with your fellow judges and contestants. After dinner, either stick around for a movie marathon or head out to do your own thing.
January 23rd: Today is everyone’s lucky day, because we’re all going into the park as face characters. That’s right; we get to spend the day as an official Disney employee. Consider today a test run. Try not to embarrass Henry or Chloe too much, it’s their butts on the line as much as yours.
January 25th – 27th: Event: Surprise! Henry and Chloe have flown in your families and loved ones to spend the weekend at the parks with you. We know that it’s been a while since you have seen the people closest to you in your lives, so forget about the competition for a few days and enjoy spending time with the people you love the most at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Challenge: Create a set featuring your character’s family and loved ones. Who flew in to California to see you? Your parents? Your siblings? Your significant other? What are you going to do while they are here? Include pictures of the rides you are going to go on and so on. Be creative!
January 28th: Our first elimination is today. No set or story is required.
January 30th: Flashback story! Write a story about your character’s life before the competition.
